Howdy folks! It's Thursday morning here in Tacoma, Washington. About 8:51AM and it's going to be another HOT HOT day. About 85 and I love it, with the exception of being INDOORS from 6:15AM til about 4:45PM. Thank GOD tomorrow is FRIDAY and I am off. Thus the title....
Trenten has not been feeling well this week. Runny nose, now chapped, coughing & coughing, sleeping great some nights, and not others. The whites of his eyes were so grey the other day, I could tell he was a tired wee bug. Thomas is great. Working himself to sleep meaning up at 1AM and home by noon. Thank goodness he can take a nap when Trenten does in the afternoons :o)
On a different note (and color) I finally have new family pictures to place on the blog. My best girl Dioncia Von Bargen-Miles (aka Didi) is owner & CEO of Natural Approach Photography (425.356.1989 Lake Stevens area) took some great pictures of us the end of June. Primarily for Trenten's 18 month milestone, also for me because we didn't have any family pictures of us since Trenten was 3 months old. She is AMAZING. I have posted 3 other pictures she took of us on this blog as well. Advertising a bit for her here cause she is DAMN GOOD at what she does. I'm attaching the family shot for ya'll to see.
Switching again.... I have finally picked the wedding theme & color. Red Asian Lily and a subtle Asian theme with lights and symbols fitting for a Korean background. No Scottish anything ~ I'm switching things up. After we return from Wisconsin in September, I plan to go full steam on making the announcements & invites for 2008 (thank you girls). I have scouts out there helping me find the best location. Bless all you scouts. So... once I have a date, all my friends & family whom live out of state, you will know come October 2007 so you can make plans for Summer 2008. You had all best come or I will be crushed (no pressure there HA!!)
Well I'd best sign off here before I make you all "seasick" will all my color changes. Love color. Spice of life. Well maybe this orange it a bit obnoxious, just a sec is this better? No I like this one even better. So what was I saying??
Oh yeah. I went to the Seattle Highland Games in Enumclaw, WA over the week-end July 28 & 29. Nice on Saturday & rained all of Sunday. It was wonderful to be out on the field & listening to all the bagpipe music. Hats off to my 2 favorite pipers: Stuart Johnson & Rob Johnstone. They've both played for us at the Bellingham Games this past June 2007. (P.S. Bellingham Games for 2008 is June 7 & 8) Overall the Seattle event was great. Missed Portland cause I couldn't get my fanny down that way in time. There is always next year. I plan to make it to Kelso & Boise if I am home from Wisconsin in time. Spokane Games is this Saturday Aug 4th & Whidbey Island/Greenbank Games are the following Saturday Aug 11th. I'll be missing those. Again, always next year.
OK before I make myself crazy with all this color, I had best go. Thank you all o fyou whom peek at our blog to see what crazy crap I'll write next or what goofy pictures might show up. Also a great way to see what's happening if you don't have time to call, email or use snail mail. LOVE YOU EVERYONE & chat again soon.
