Trenten, momma and Auntie Taren DID THE PUYALLUP on "Get in the FAIR FREE FRIDAY". This was our second year. LOVED IT. Free til noon is the advertisement, and since I have Fridays off, we went on trottin in.
Took Trenten on RIDES this year. Mr. GO FAST MOMMA loved the rides. Wanted to go on them again and again. LOVED the train they have at Sillyville play area for little ones. The picture of Trenten and I close is of he and I on board waiting to take the trip around Sillyville on the train. He gets all "serious" yet he is so darn excited.
The other pictures are of him at the Children Petting Farm. There are baby pymgy goats, bunny rabbits, and sheep the children can pet, maul, attack, you know the usual depending on the age of the child. Trenten was in HEAVEN over the bunnies. Wasn't sure about the pymgy goats much to my dismay since I grew up raising close to 20 at one point in my teen years. When Trenten was born, they goats at the Culbertson Homestead were all gone. So we get to see them at the Fair. Yet he braved it a moment and stretched to pet the behind of a nearby sheep running for its life from an annoying little freak of a girl whose mother needed to get a grip on that child. Anyhoo.... Auntie Taren was in the que for Scones. Yes people actually wait in LONG lines for HOURS to buy a dozen or two of those things that get hard if you do not eat them all that very same day. I love them yet not to stand in long lines waiting for them. I think they need to come with butter as well as raspberry jam. They are so darn dry in your mouth.
All in all Trenten and I had a wonderful time doing the Fair. Thomas, Trenten and I went back in Sunday the 7th, another hot sunny day, and checked out the place. Trenten and Thoms spent a bit of time in the horse barn loving the sights.
