Subject: Christmas Decorations
Good Day All.........
This is probably one of the hardest emails I have to write as no one likes Christmas decorations more than I do. However, there are a couple of concerns that have been voiced, and I must pass them on to you.
First, we must keep our Christmas lights to a minimum. Because of the strain we have on the electrical system (remember we removed the space heaters!!), and because of the risk of fire if lights are not unplugged at night, we ask that lighting in areas be kept to trees, etc....and not on individual cubes.
Second, we ask that decorations be kept at cubicle height or lower. This way we do not infringe our decorations on to other people who may not be comfortable with them. Please do not suspend anything from the ceiling (yes, my snow flakes are not going up this year). This can also be a fire hazard, and should be avoided.
Also remember that not everyone has the same beliefs at Christmas, and we must respect the feelings of all of our coworkers.
Thank you in advance for your help with this delicate matter.
