Hello! Here we are ending January and yes we DID get 1 day of snow this winter. HOLY MOLY FOLKS! The city shuts down. Well almost. Thomas just loves winter storms. Good thing he is not our local weather person, it would be ultimate drama with "batten down the hatches folks there is a storm blowing in.."
The pups loved being out in the white stuff wearing their fancy sweaters. Zinny in her black one with bling bling on the back (can't see it in the pix) and Codi-bear in his flashy red one. Good thing they were wearing them otherwise they disappeared in the snow...being white and all. They played out there for a good 2 1/2 hours before they decided it was time to come in. Then they crashed for about an hour in their beds. Silly pups.
Skylar, now she wanted nothing doing with that wet stuff. Poor wee kitten!! Should have tossed her out there and see what would have happened. Maybe the next snow fall. Stay tunned.
Trenten has a cold. Poor wee bug. Not the flu, AMEN, just the usual run of the mill watery eyes, snotting & coughing. Yehaw!! He is doing great otherwise. Abour 31 pounds & 35 inches tall we were told on January 11th. He is into coloring, trucks & cars & trains, Elmo, Thomas the Tank Engine, and Baby Looney Tunes (Taz, Bugs, Lola, Sylvester, Tweetie and Daffy). I've seen that video a million times I could repeat it word for word. So can Trenten!!
Thomas has been slaving away working at SYSCO. Crazy hours, crazy driving, crazy everything. Currently he is supposed to go BACK to Eastern Washington to take care of business & drivers. He has spent time in Spokane, Tri Cities, Yakima, Ellensburg & Wenatchee more in January 2008 than he did the entire year of 2007. Plus he said he has had his quota of snow while in Spokane for the remainder of 2008. They had insane amounts of snow the week of January 7-11 this year. Trenten and I culdn't go with him, so we missed all the snow fun.
Me? I am well. Working at PSE coming up on my 4th year with the company and loving it. The department I am working in is amazingly flexible with hours, I work 4 ten hour days with every Friday off, and enjoying the company of great co-workers. So much room to grow and develop within PSE I plan to stay put.
Best to you all reading this blog. Stay tuned for February "Month of Love"....
Hugs & Blessings, Heidi & crew
