We are engaged!!

Yes!! Finally folks... we have set the date and we are NOT changing it. Mark your calendars for Saturday August 9th, 2008.

This will be a small event, family & close friends in attendance to see us finally hook on the ole ball & chain for good. HA HA!! My sister and brother in law have GRACIOUSLY offered their beautiful property to host the ceremony & reception. Plenty of room for parking, DJ music, wine & suds, BBQ, lights, camera and action.

We were nervous as we started planning for July 26th, as nothing was falling into place for that date. Only thing that did?? The cake from Pioneer Bakery. Bless them. By postponing, regrouping, and delagating, August 9th is the winner.
We have heard from family far and near that they will be able to come and we are excited.
This "wedding" is more about gathering of our families for toasting, hosting, cheering, remembering, loving, celebrating and carrying on the Curtis//Orr family reunion Part 2?? Part 1 was in September 2007 in Hartland at Chuck & Dirilee's house. I guess this means we go back to Wisconsin for reunion Part 3 in 2009? Sweet!!
Be looking for invites here soon. I was trying to come up with Save the Date magnets so Thomas and I can haunt you from your fridge..... and I might still do that. Working on invites unless this blogspot can count as the invite. Stay tuned, you never know.
Ok check out our registry from Target & Macy's. Macy's even has a website for us. It's pretty & was fun setting up. Now to pick out pots & pans, linens, glassware, good grief!! I need a beverage just thinking about it.
