OK I have such a tale for you! Alright, before I begin, I need to make sure you are familiar with the movie "CARS", and the main character, Lightening McQueen. He is a race car, #95, and becomes lost in a place called Radiator Springs which is the main story. Anyhoo..... while in Radiator Springs, he meets a Porche names Sally.....Now, our dear bugaboo Trenten LOVES the movie "CARS" and Lightening & Sally.
He has a Lightening McQueen car & Sally car which he carries with him everywhere. At night, they go on his nightstand to be scooped up first thing when the wee bug wakes up in the morning.
That shared, I shall continue with "A Story about Sally". Yesterday morning, that being Tuesday December 30th, Trenten awakes as usual, jumps off him bed with a "whomp" ((to which we know he is definately awake)), and grabs Sally whom happened to overnight on his night stand. Our sitter asks him if he'd like to go potty ((working on the potty training you see)). "Oh yes" says Trenten, Sally held tightly in his wee hand. Off to the potty! Now normally Trenten puts his toy on the counter in the bathroom before getting down to the potty training business. According to our sitter, he didn't want to release Sally this morning. So Sally got to enjoy all that potty training business first hand. Hand you say? Somehow poor Sally fell out of Trenten's hand, "plunk" and "splash" right into the potty she goes. OH NO you say? I thought the same thing as our sitter is telling me "the story". Well, Trenten is ever so eager to flush the toilet, so you guessed it, SALLY GOT FLUSHED! And Trenten waived "bye bye" to her as she swirled in the bottom on the potty right on into the netherworld of the sewer system.
At this point I was laughing so hard I was crying. Not once, all morning yesterday, did he ask about Sally and her plight said our sitter. Yet when I got home last night, he took me into the bathroom, pointed into the potty, and told me "We need to get Sally out momma", to which I replied "Baby she is long gone into the underworld of the potty system. No way can we get Sally out of there now sweet". He looked at me all determined and said "Papa do it!" HA! HA! I laughed so hard all over again. Thomas just grinned.
So, that shared, I am off to hunt for a new Sally only to let Trenten know, PAPA DID DO IT and got his Sally back. Stay tuned!
